About our work

Building Power of the OutCaste (BPO) is an initiative that aims to foster intergenerational leadership and political power among leaders from caste-affected communities globally, alongside advocates for caste justice who, though not from these communities, draw parallels with other identity-based or minority rights causes. 

We are on the road to create a sustainable caste justice movement by reclaiming power and space for caste-affected communities and allies across the global south.

What we do

Building Leadership – Equip anti-caste actors with advocacy skills to enable them to perform their own advocacy, creating a sustainable anti-caste movement.

Connecting Movements – Bridging the gap between anti-caste & grassroots actors that do not usually have access to platforms necessary for advocacy

Visibility – Increase the visibility of anti-caste actors through their branding, increase their presence in the public sphere and equipping them with necessary communication strategies to widen their reach
